General Ophthalmology

The primary role of a general ophthalmologist is to make a full assessment and decide on the best treatment for you. He/she will treat a wide variety of eye conditions and perform cataract surgery.

Your general ophthalmologist will conduct eye exams and help identify abnormalities and vision problems, address issues or surgical situations. The examination involves several tests to check your eyes for altered vision and any eye disease and also to ascertain the health, function and appearance of different parts of the eye.
